What changes the final price
Travel dates
Winter holidays, national holidays and periods of high demand can increase hotel and transport costs.
Group size
A vehicle and local guide cost is shared across the group. A two-person private group normally pays a different per-person rate from a larger group.
Hotel level
Room category, lake-view hotels and upgraded accommodation can change the total significantly.
Vehicle choice
First-class coach and 4WD options have different operating costs. See the Twin Lakes page for the two 8-day choices.
Included services
Confirm airport transfers, meals, entrance tickets, driver and guide services, and optional winter activities in the written quotation.
Usually excluded unless stated
- Flights to and from Xinjiang.
- Personal spending and shopping.
- Optional activities not listed in the final proposal.
- Any service that is not explicitly confirmed in writing.
A lower headline price is not always better. Compare the hotel level, vehicle, guide, tickets and cancellation terms before choosing.
